Hey People.
Sankranthi is round the corner.
Here iam with a new look for Sankranthi day.
Makar Sankranthi is one of the few ancient Hindu festivals that has been observed according to solar cycles.
So, It almost falls on January 14th every year.
We are just a week away from Makar Sankranthi.
Personally my day starts with making Rangolis in early morning followed by puja, lots of food, Flying kites and watching TV shows without missing any(Those Sankranthi special shows).
Iam someone who doesnt prefer all heavy and shiny clothes for Festivals.
If you are someone like me, then this post is for you. Sankranthi is all about bright colors
For this I have chosen a maroon high neck, full length dress with simple print on it.
My favorite part of this is having a small slit cut exactly beside the high neck.
I did not wear any heavy jewellery for this.
I kept this as simple as possible by pairing maroon hangings, a ring and some bangles.
I have also paired this with black heels which has nice golden shimmer finish.
I left my hair free.
But if you braid it into a fish tail then that gives even a better look than free hair.
Below are the pictures.
